Not responding when printing
There are three main reasons why Packing Partner stops responding when printing:
Updates to printer drivers or corrupted printer data.
Updates can cause the printer settings saved by Packing Partner to become invalid. If this is the cause, previewing will still work correctly.
Corrupted layout.
A corrupted layout can also cause Packing Partner to stop responding when printing, but other layouts will work correctly. If this is the cause, previewing (and possibly printing the layout from the Layouts tab), will also cause Packing Partner to stop responding.
Packing Partner is out of memory
If you print high volumes, this could be a memory issue, there is an update with additional memory management to cope with this, please see here.
Solutions
1) Read the new data from the printer driver:
Click Print to open the print dialog.
Change to any other printer and click properties.
Click OK in the new printer properties, then Cancel in the print dialog.
You should be asked to save the new printer settings, click Yes.
Open the Print dialog again, select your printer and click Properties.
Click OK, and then Packing Partner should print properly.
2) Copy frames from the faulty, to a new layout:
If printing works from other layouts, open the layout in the Layouts tab.
Select all the frames on the layout using Ctrl A.
Click New and select a layout template.
Paste the copied frames into it.
Save the new frame with a new file name and test it.
